how to craft your foot position on landing on the board skateboards
Once you learn how to ride a skateboard, you will probably try new tricks such as Ollie or flips. But the problem is, not your legs landing on the board, your foot lands on the ground, so it does not complete the trick that you've started. How do you solve this problem?
There may be two reasons why your feet land on the ground, not on the board: You either fear or how wrong you do the trick.
Being scared is perfectly fine. This means that you take skateboarding seriously, and you realize that you might get hurt if you do something stupid. But, you must overcome this fear to do the trick. If you are unable to land with your legs on a skateboard, start with one foot.
No matter if left or right foot. What is important is that you are determined to do the right tricks. The key here is practice. Once you can land on one foot, try landing on both feet. If the other foot still refuse to land on a skateboard, then there must be something wrong either with the execution or trick your body shape. If you are not comfortable doing tricks while rolling on the concrete base, it's okay to practice on grass or carpet. As long as you decide to do it right, you'll be fine.
Read articles and watch videos of skateboard tricks you try to learn. You will learn quickly if you learn from experts, or at least, people who know what they're talking about.
Now try again to land the trick and set your feet and legs to the board. If you still can not, I recommend you ask someone to help you determine what is wrong with your execution, someone you trust and understand about skateboarding, someone who is willing to help you improve your skills. Does the trick anymore. Practice until you can do it right. If you're still having problems with one or both legs, exercising harder and not give up.
This can be frustrating but fun skateboarding. So relax and keep practicing. Sooner or later you'll get it right. And once you do, practice even more
